CLASSROOMS
AKV has spacious well equipped air conditioned classrooms with all the essential facilities and provides aesthetic surroundings. AKV thus provides the best of academic environment to its students so that they can effectively concentrate on their studies.
FACULTY
A.K. Vidyamandir is fortunate to have a galaxy of highly acclaimed scholars as its faculty members. They have an impeccable record of exhibiting superb performance through their hard work, dedication, sincerity and long experience in their respective areas of specialization. It is due to the untiring efforts of such luminaries that the institute has been performing so well year after year. They are our pride.
LIBRARY
We have a well-equipped Library in Sector-36D, run by A.K. Vidyamandir Educational and Research Trust. The Library is having a large stock of course, reference and competition books written by famous Indian and foreign authors. A number of periodicals and journals are also subscribed to. The students can make use of the library by paying a very small fee. The library has a spacious AC reading hall where the students can study as per their convenience.
TRANSPORT FACILITY (OPTIONAL)
The Institute owns a fleet of well maintained buses providing doorstep service to the students of the city and those coming from adjoining areas of Chandigarh, on nominal charges. The transport is available only from certain selected sectors. This facility can not be claimed as a matter of right.
HOSTEL FACILITY (OPTIONAL)
The institute maintains separate hostels for boys and girls. Special care is taken to provide good food and to maintain overall perfect hygiene and conducive academic environment in the hostels. The hostel seats are available on first-come-first-served basis. In case, accommodation is not available in our own hostels, then paying guest accommodation is arranged in the adjoining sectors. It is impressed upon students, that they observe perfect discipline and decorum and they will be responsible for their behavior and conduct, during their stay. Parents are advised to discourage the use of mobiles by their wards in the hostel. Charges for boarding and lodging are approximately @ RS. 3500/- per month. The students are required to deposit a refundable security of Rs. 1,000/- . If a student wants to vacate the hostel, one month’s prior notice is a must. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
STUDY MATERIAL
AKV conducts a variety of coaching modules for meeting the requirements of students at different levels. In these programmes the students are provided with the study materials which are specially designed in conformity with their requirements. The R&D Wing comprising of the expert faculty takes great pains to prepare the study material and to revise / update it regularly as per latest syllabus and changed pattern of Entrance Examinations. We feel that AKV’s Study Material, Synopsis, Assignments are so exhaustive, that there is hardly any need to look elsewhere for further help if the students gain command of our Study Material.
